AMT178 is a genuinely portable water activity meter: light, precise to 0.02 aw, and ready to give a result in five minutes. Sensor and readout are integrated in a single body — load the sample and water activity plus sample temperature appear together on the display.

The resolution is 0.001 aw across the full 0.000 – 1.000 aw range, so small differences between batches remain visible. The display switches between °C and °F to match your SOP, and the instrument powers down automatically after one minute without operation, protecting the two AAA batteries during long days in the field.
