WA-60A is a real portable water activity meter. At just 100 g it weighs less than a mobile phone, yet it measures water activity to 0.02 aw, so you can check aw anywhere — in the warehouse, on the production floor or in the field. The sensor and the readout are integrated in one handheld body: load the sample, wait five minutes, and read both water activity and sample temperature together on the backlit LCD.

The instrument runs on two AAA batteries with automatic shutdown, manual shutdown and an under-voltage alarm. Measured values leave the device over USB for connection to a PC, and a Bluetooth output option is available for wireless transfer — useful when you need to file readings without returning to the office.
