HD-6 is a laboratory smart water activity meter that measures temperature and water activity together, with a large 128 × 64 dot LCD and a built-in micro printer for immediate paper records. Water activity is read over 0 – 1.000 aw with ±0.012 aw accuracy (at 23 °C ± 5 °C) and repeatability of ≤ 0.008 aw — tight enough to distinguish batches in routine QC. Temperature is measured over −10 – 50 °C with ±0.5 °C accuracy.
The instrument can be configured with 1 to 4 measuring points (HD-6-1 to HD-6-4), so a single unit can run several samples in sequence without swapping sensors. Measurement takes 5 – 40 minutes or runs automatically. Each unit stores 5,000 sets of data circularly; connected to a Windows PC with the supplied software, it displays readings and curves, saves results, and can name files automatically from a preset product name. Printing can be triggered at the end of a measurement or run in real time, and calibration supports both single-point and multi-point joint procedures.
