AMT237 Digital Force Gauge

Keywords: Digital Force Gauge, Push Pull Force Gauge, Digital Push Pull Gauge, Force Measurement Gauge, Portable Force Gauge

High-Performance Push-Pull Force Testing in a Compact Digital Gauge.

The AMT237 is a high-performance digital push-pull force gauge built for accurate, repeatable force measurement. Its digital display shows readings in N, kg, or lb, with a peak-hold mode that captures the maximum force during a test and a push/pull indicator that shows the direction of applied force at a glance. Lightweight and compact, it's equally at home held by hand or mounted on a test stand.

Key Features

1.  Clear Digital Display — Easy-to-read readings with a push/pull direction indicator built into the display.

2.  Lightweight and Portable — Compact enough to carry between test locations or mount on a stand.

3.  Three Measurement Units — Switch between lb, kg, and N at the press of a button.

4.  Peak-Hold Mode — Captures and holds the maximum force value recorded during a test.

5.  Protected Rechargeable Battery — A 3.7V lithium battery includes overload protection against short-circuits and current leakage, a low-battery indicator, and automatic shutoff after 10 minutes of inactivity.

6.  Adjustable Test Limits — Set custom upper and lower value limits, with an audible alarm when a reading falls outside the defined range.

Controls

1.  ON/OFF — Powers the gauge on to the measuring screen, or off.

2.  ZERO — Zeros the displayed reading.

3.  UNIT — Switches between N, kg, and lb; also used to adjust values while in the settings menu.

4.  SET — Press briefly to enter Peak mode; press and hold for 4–5 seconds after power-on to enter the settings menu.

Function Settings

HIDT — Upper limitSets the upper test-value limit; readings above it trigger the buzzer. Default: 99% of full scale.
LODT — Lower limitSets the lower test-value limit; readings below it trigger the buzzer. Default: zero.
L.SET — Minimum peak-save valueIn Peak mode, readings below this value are not saved.
OFFT — Auto-shutdown timeAdjustable from 1 to 9999 minutes, or "00" to disable. Default: 10 minutes.
G.SET — Gravitational accelerationAdjustable to match local gravitational acceleration. Default: 9.800.
bAC.S — BacklightTurns the display backlight on (YES) or off (NO).
r.SET — Factory resetRestores factory default settings.

Testing Procedure

1.  Attach a suitable clamp to the gauge (custom clamps can be made to the outline and mounting dimensions in the manual).

2.  Hold the gauge firmly or mount it on a test stand, keeping the applied force and the push-pull rod aligned in a straight line for an accurate reading.

3.  After testing, release the load, remove the clamp, and return all items to the case.
