The SM218E is a professional handheld screen brightness meter for measuring small-area luminous displays from 0.01 cd/m² up to 39 990 cd/m² without a dimmer.
The SM218E screen brightness meter is purpose-built for quality control, R&D, and field service teams who need fast, reliable luminance readings from compact light-emitting surfaces. Its silicon photocell detector is strictly spectrally calibrated to national secondary illuminance meter standards, giving accurate and stable measurements across fluorescent screens, CRT displays, LCD backlights, mobile phone panels, and security indicator lamps.
With a close-focus probe designed for targets as small as 10 mm and a split-host layout with a 1 m shielded extension cable, the SM218E fits comfortably into tight workspaces while the rubber-coated housing protects the instrument from shocks and drops.
Wide measuring range — 0.01 cd/m² to 39 990 cd/m² with no external dimmer required.
