Measuring Instruments — Dissolved Oxygen Meter Series
Keywords: portable dissolved oxygen meter, pen type DO meter, digital dissolved oxygen tester, water quality DO meter, handheld dissolved oxygen meter
Trustworthy DO Readings, Built for the Field.
The AMT08 is a digital pen-type DO (Dissolved Oxygen) meter built for quick, accurate dissolved oxygen and temperature measurement in water. It measures DO from 0 to 19.9 mg/L (ppm) with a resolution of 0.1 mg/L and an accuracy of ±0.50 mg/L, while also reading water temperature from 5 to 99.9°C with automatic temperature compensation between 5 and 45°C.
Engineered with advanced electronic and sensor technology, the AMT08 delivers reliable results in a pocket-sized body. Its IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating, simple three-key operation, and battery-powered portability make it a dependable tester for aquariums, ponds, schools, workshops, aquaculture, and on-site environmental checks.
1. Pen-Style Portable Design — Slim, lightweight body with an IP67 dustproof and waterproof rating, ready for comfortable one-handed testing in the field or on the bench.
2. DO & Temperature in One — Measures dissolved oxygen (0–19.9 mg/L) and water temperature (5–99.9°C) at the same time, so you get a complete water picture in a single reading.
3. Automatic Temperature Compensation — Built-in compensation across 5–45°C keeps DO readings accurate as water temperature changes.
4. Simple 3-Key Operation — ON/OFF, CAL, and YES keys make calibration and measuring quick and intuitive, even for first-time users.
5. Guided One-Point Calibration — Field calibration in minutes: ON/OFF → CAL → 100 → YES → 0 → YES. An optional professional two-point calibration is available when the sensor is replaced.
6. Low Maintenance & Long Life — Gold/silver sensor with a replaceable membrane and electrolyte; polish the tip with 1200-mesh paper or toothpaste to restore shine after long use.
1. Activate the Probe (First Use) — Unscrew the membrane cap, fill it with about 0.5 ml of electrolyte, screw it back on and power on. The probe self-activates (do not press any key); it turns off automatically after roughly 10 minutes.
2. Calibrate — Press ON/OFF to turn on, then CAL. The temperature digit flashes "100". Place the meter in air and keep it still; wait 3–5 minutes until the reading is stable, then press YES. When it shows 0, press YES again to finish one-point calibration. (Outdoors with wind, place the sensor in an air-filled plastic bag.)
3. Measure — Immerse the probe in water so the level is above the thermistor (about 4–4.5 cm, not exceeding 5 cm). Wait for the reading to stabilize — that value is the DO of your sample. Hold ON/OFF for 3 seconds to power off.
4. Maintain — After extended use, polish the sensor with fine (1200-mesh or finer) paper or toothpaste. Replace the membrane or electrolyte as needed (spare parts AMT08P / AMT08B).
